For Flexibilia’s 51st release the two artists Kelon and Julia Mour go head to head with 2 very different styles of sonic exploration. First up Kelon brings us ‘Eye’ which fuses eerie, minimal electronica, informed by the 90s sound of Sheffield, with maximal classical segues at unexpected intervals, creating a sophisticated palate of sound. Julia Mour’s ‘My Demons And You’ in contrast is a melancholy paean that blends delicate electronica, bluesy vocals and lo-fi folk-style acoustics, to create a unique genre-bending finished article.
