Folks welcome Flexibilia Recordings! The new imprint by Plasteline Publishing was brought to life to first serve SAE Athens’ newest talent in electronic music production. Bounded by no musical or aesthetic restrictions, the label’s 360° approach to releasing music promises to cover almost every possible taste out there while maintaining high production standards.
The Electronic Music Production department at SAE Athens Greece presents an innovative approach to music technology and the production of electronic music. The EMP2 training program consists of targeted lectures, which enhance the creative abilities of the student, but also support further development at a technical level.
As part of the practical training, students co-create in one-on-one sessions with reputable professional producers who are assigned to them according to a student’s musical and production style. This workflow helps both, at a technical and creative level, while allowing for maximum flexibility in creating a professional music track. Under excessive supervision, students develop the musical style of their choice; in parallel, the technical integrity of the project is also ensured. Current mentors include John Dalagelis, Aris Kokou, Serafeim Tsotsonis, Timewarp, Cydelix, Lee Burton, Cenobite and Throttler.
The resulting tracks are getting bundled thematically into digital releases on labels Flexibilia & Plasteline Recordings and are being made available on major platforms like iTunes, Youtube, Beatport, Spotify, to name just a few. In parallel, the releases are getting promoted through traditional and digital channels, such as Press&Play, Facebook and Mailchimp. This way upcoming artists find themselves standing next to the biggies of the international music industry.
